WAVE YOUTH

12 - 18 Years

The Wave Youth is focused on discipleship through relationship.
Youth is for those in Secondary school and seeks to help them to grow in their understanding of who God is, who He has made them to be and what it means to live a life fully sold out for Him.  The Youth gather together for worship, teaching,  fun, activities, food and  just hanging out together.
For more information please contact our youth leaders Kurt and Olive Torrance on 0409 182 442 or email kotorrance@gmail.com

FAMILIES

Throughout the year we have family focused events to build relationships, enjoy good food and connect as the family of God. We also have age specific programs for children and parents.

EAGLETS

2-5 Year olds
Our Eaglets program takes place during Church every Sunday. This program is designed to teach these young ones about God's love for them and to help them understand who God is through stories, games and craft.

KIDZONE

Primary school age
Kidzone is a place where each Sunday morning our children not only learn about the bible and Jesus through fun activities and games but also connect with God and grow in their relationship with Him. It is a place were they are valued and loved and are given opportunities to love others.

MUSIC AND PLAY

Birth to school age
Music and play is for parents with children from newborns through to school age. It runs every Monday and Wednesday morning's from 9.30-11. This is a time for children to connect through a music based program and for parents to connect with each other over food and a cuppa. The cost is $5 a session and you will need to bring along a piece of fruit for the children's morning tea time.

LIFE GROUPS

Life groups at The Wave are all about connecting with others and growing deeper in faith. Groups meet throughout the week in a variety of locations to support each other and grow in their understanding of what it means to live as one's who are loved and who then represent this love to a hurting world.

KINGDOM NIGHTS

Every second Tuesday at 6pm people gather together at The Wave desiring to see God's Kingdom released here on earth.  We share a pot-luck meal and spend time around the Word, sharing testimony and participating in communion.  We seek to encourage each other in our understanding of the Kingdom of God and how God is at work in our lives and we spend time worshiping Him and glorifying Him.

SENIORS

Those in their senior years are an active and vital part of The Wave Church, they seek to support and care for each other as well as others within the wider Church community.  A group of ladies meet every Monday for a cuppa and to chat and support each other and on Wednesdays a group of men do the same. On the second Sunday of each month there is a lunch where seniors gather to enjoy good food and each other's company. There are also life groups where they meet to inspire and encourage each other in the Faith.

MEN

We seek to encourage men to spur each other on in the faith by allowing space for authentic and honest connections across generations. This happens through regular men's breakfasts and through some of our life groups where men are given the opportunity to gather around the word and do life together.

WOMEN

We seek to provide opportunity for women to connect with each other in meaningful ways and to allow them opportunity to encourage and care for each other while growing deeper in their relationship with Jesus. There are a number of women's life groups including a Mum's and Bub's group where women can grow in their love for God and their understanding of who He is while loving and praying for each other.

YOUNG ADULTS

The Wave young adults are a group who are passionate about Jesus and learning what it looks like to follow Him. They meet in life groups fortnightly to study the word and encourage each other to walk in who Jesus has made them to be. They gather regularly  both formally and informally to eat, chat, drink good coffee and support and pray for each other.
